Why Ukraine?
That's a very good question. Neither of us grew up with a burning desire to go to any part of the Soviet Union. But God hand picked us to be part of what He is doing in the country of Ukraine - and we eagerly follow where He is leading. We need you to be part of our support foundation because this is a team effort.
Where is Ukraine?
Ukraine is part of the western edge of the former Soviet Union. Click here to see a map of the region as well as one of Ukraine that shows where the city of Krivoy Rog is.
What will you be doing?
Our first task is to learn the language and the culture. Philip hopes to preach and teach as much as possible as soon as he can do so in Russian. We all plan to spend time at several of the orphanages in Krivoy Rog, though Denise and the girls will be there more than Philip.
